This research describes a pilot program involving 79 underserved children aged 0–43 months in Palm Beach County, Florida. It examines how a registered dental hygienist working in pediatric medical offices can provide oral-health screenings, fluoride varnish, caregiver education, and referrals to improve access to preventive dental care.
